Economic Inclusion Initiatives

Centro CHA sees economic inclusion as one of the most vital pieces to a successful community. Creating a more equitable Long Beach where resources and opportunities are readily available to the Latino community is continuously top of mind. It is engrained into almost every aspect of the organization and a large reason why Centro CHA exists today.

The organization’s most valuable asset is the annual Latino Economic Report. In partnership with California State University, Long Beach, Centro CHA is able to dive deep into the data of the community. As a direct result, Centro CHA is able to design strategic programming and continuously fill in the gaps. This tool has proven to be effective not just for the organization, but a vital piece of information to Centro CHA’s partners and other local government agencies who have viewed this as an integral part of the programming.
